Honoring Jeanne Bradley's Memory Through Support for Maison McCulloch Hospice

Community Care

The recent passing of Jeanne Bradley, wife of Sean Bradley, Maximus Rose’s co-owner and Vice President, has left an indelible mark on their family, friends, and the Sudbury community. After a courageous battle with cancer, Jeanne passed away under the compassionate care of Maison McCulloch Hospice, a place that gave the support she deserved in her final days by providing end-of-life care with compassion, respect, and expertise.

This made a lasting impact on the Bradley family, inspiring them to give back in a meaningful way.

Sean and his family, alongside the Mutchasos family, have committed to a five-year initiative to revitalize the White Clove Gala Dinner, a fundraising event benefiting Maison McCulloch Hospice. Held on November 21, 2024, at the Caruso Club, the event raised $125,000 to support the hospice’s essential end-of-life care. This initiative underscores the power of community in places like Sudbury, where organizations like Maison McCulloch Hospice provide vital support. Maximus Rose is proud to champion efforts that strengthen care in remote communities, ensuring comfort for families when they need it most.

As they move forward with this five-year commitment, the Bradley family and Maximus Rose hope to inspire others to contribute to this meaningful cause, ensuring that future families can experience the same compassionate support that helped them navigate their loss.

“The decorations, the gowns, the food and smiles - everyone was decked out in their finest and the energy in the room was palpable” says Aubé reflecting on the evening. “It brought tears to the eyes of many in the room to see so many people and organizations come together to rally around such an amazing cause.” A show of hands at one point highlighted just how many people rely on hospice care for their loved ones. “Hospice care is free to anyone who needs it. When people like the Bradley family and the Moustatsos family pull together, they truly move mountains in maintaining access to quality end-of-life services… especially for our community’s most vulnerable.”
